These last few days several aircraft have set new sub-sonic speed-records over the Atlantic. How is it possible for an aircraft to fly this fast? Wouldn’t a sub-sonic aircraft face problems if they fly faster than the speed of sound?
This is one of the issues I will be talking about in todays “bonus” video. I will also explain why aircraft sometimes “goes around” even after they have touched down and much, much more.
